|
Dublin City Gallery The Hugh Lane
A tour with a wonderful difference - not just a gallery tour, but also a fascinating discovery of the joys of art and an insight into the hidden secrets behind different art movements. In the beautiful, relaxing surroundings of the Dublin City Gallery The Hugh Lane, this tour uses paintings from the gallery's extensive collection, from Impressionist masterpieces of Manet, Monet, Renoir and Degas to works by leading national and international contemporary artists as examples to explain to you the essence of different art movements. There is also an unique opportunity to view Francis Bacon's entire Studio which provides invaluable insight into the artist's life, inspirations, unusual techniques and working methods. This tour hopes to answer common questions about art: What makes this painting famous?... What is this painting really about?... What should I look out for in a painting like this? Tour guide Cathy Roche says "I like to define this tour as a 'life-enriching' experience. What you'll discover on this tour will last you for the rest of your life, and add countless memorable moments to your future art viewing." At the end of this tour you are free to continue touring the galleries collection in your own time while testing out your new skills! [CLICK HERE TO BOOK THIS TOUR] |
